Going to seed

Sunflower is going to seed!  His blossom is wilted-brown and has a few lopsided packed seeds.  This is not normal, but then, we are living on the frontier and things are different here.  His seeds are not ready now; but they will be by the time we leave for Earth in our seedpod spaceship.  Sunflower wants his seeds to be taken back to Earth.  He wants them to experience real soil and real sun.  He wants them to have a life with places to grow and resources to use that he did not have.  Such is what any parent wants.

Sunflower floats tall with his seed laden blossom. He is now over 1 1/2 meters but his stem is still skinny and crooked. Gardener says he will never be able to stand on Earth without the help of a stake. We do not understand exactly what this means.
