Lyrid meteor shower

Today was the peak of the Lyrid meteor shower. We set up four cameras in the cupola simultaneously taking pictures. From our vantage point we could see Earth on a length scale of half a continent. This was definitely a big sky view. Gardener said there were places on Earth that were also taking photographs simultaneous with our cameras. All these pictures taken together will make a very interesting scientific data set. I stayed awake during the night and helped with the observations.
