The one millionth photograph
We have taken the one millionth photograph from Space Station. The Gardner on Earth who tabulates all the photos sent us a message with this news. This outpost has been continuously occupied for 12 years and we are the fortunate ones to be here when this happened. We take all sorts of photographs ranging from boring but necessary engineering subjects of cables and clogged filters to beautiful Earth-scapes. Fortunately, the one millionth photograph turned out to be that of a nighttime Earth with a skip of aurora. Our return spacecraft, an orbital seedpod, is seen in the foreground.
