Orbital seedpod

Gardener and crew wore their spacesuits today and went to the part of the spaceship that breaks off and falls back to Earth.  It is very cramped inside and protects them from the fiery atmospheric return.  They have not flown this part of the Space Station for over six months; this is a highly volatile skill honed by many months of practice on Earth and now needs to be practiced for piloting its return.  An orbital seedpod I call it.

Our orbital seedpod is seen here as the green gumdrop-shaped pod sandwiched between the solar panels and the spherical nodule.
